Muon Detector — Design Notes and Sourcing Reality
Where the cosmic-ray instrument actually stands: design settled on a plastic scintillator + SiPM architecture with two units in coincidence, target cost under NPR 25,000 per detector. Components are the bottleneck, not the design. No flux numbers yet — there is no detector yet.
IESH v0.1 — Field-Testing the Classroom Laboratory
The modular prototype adds soil temperature and moisture, CO and air-quality proxies on a proper ADC, a fisheye sky camera, and an onboard learning portal with 25+ activities — all of it working with zero internet. Notes from the bench and the first field runs.

Crystal Mountain School — Sensor Installation at 4,000m
Dispatch from Dolpo: deploying thermal sensors during construction at 4,000m. Interior and exterior temperature loggers installed in the new school building. First readings show a 15°C differential — passive solar design is working.
IESH v0 — Build Log and First Lessons
The first-generation station: a Raspberry Pi 3B with a DHT22, a BMP280, and an MQ-135 air-quality proxy. It logs locally every 60 seconds and serves its own dashboard. The DHT22 reads about 2°C high at high humidity — we log raw values and document the offset.
